By soaking in water, impurities are removed and it becomes a uniform base iron, but on the other hand, it does not have the texture of an old sword, but I feel that it has a texture with many grains and is not very interesting. To do.

Although old swords are made of soft iron, they are sensitive to hardening, and if the hardening temperature is slightly lower, effects such as "reflection" can easily occur, and even in the base iron, incompletely reduced parts and impurities remain. Because of this, it actually appears as a distinctive skin pattern.
